When fashion influences

Aurélia is a designer from the Jura region of France and passionate about design, fashion and jewellery.

There's nothing she doesn't know about eyewear.

In 2012, she joined Jura eyewear manufacturer OxibisGroup, and together they created the JOOLY® brand, pronounced with the 'j' sounding like the 's' in treasure, as in Jouli (a name we think perfectly illustrates the energy of women: a mix of strength and sensitivity, character and poetry).

Both highly demanding, they share an incredible eye for detail and the desire to create delicate, balanced and exquisite models. A choice of acetates in powder shades, highlighting metals with contemporary colours and elegant shapes, and skilful concealment of the frame's technical elements for a more delicate look...

The company's know-how and exacting quality standards are perfectly complemented by her deliberately feminine approach and fashion-oriented, contemporary style.

The concept? Surprising and innovative: a trend (in clothing, accessories or home decor) = a pair of glasses.

"Fashion-inspired" and "stunning" eyewear...

September 2013: after several months of preparation, discussion, research, sketches, design, production, and all manner of things, JOOLY® was born!

You may know Merci, the Parisian concept store that brings together the best of fashion, design and objects for the home. Without forgetting… a contemporary and welcoming restaurant.

It was in this restaurant that we were lucky enough to present the JOOLY® concept to the press.

Over a delicious, healthy and fruit-laden breakfast, journalists and influencers were given a first tour of our concept and the complete collection. A time for sharing that quickly turned into a full-on fitting session ;-) A wonderful meeting in a fashionable and unusual setting... And great positive and enthusiastic reactions to this original concept and its many different shapes and colours.

The Jura, Paris, The monde and most of all... you!

Since its launch in September 2013 at Merci, JOOLY® has come a long way. Presentations followed in quick succession at international trade fairs such as SILMO (Paris), OPTI (Munich), MIDO (Milan), Vision Expo (New York), SIOF (Shanghai), IOFT (Tokyo), etc.

From Chile to Japan, from Finland to South Africa, our frames have gone around the world and are now sold in some thirty countries.

Many different encounters have shaped the contours of our brand: partnerships with talented women illustrators, co-creations, meetings with our opticians and with groups of passionate women, allowing us to build a brand in synch with your desires over the months and years.

Several collections later, we are still totally devoted to pampering the women wearing our frames with a light, contemporary and balanced design.
