Hi there, two farm apple lemonades... hmm... and a triple-choc cream cake with caramel sauce, and ...that one with lemon, strawberry and almond ;)
The message here is clear: it doesn't matter what the heck other people think; we're out to indulge and that's the end of it!
On a recent trip to Lille, we had the immense delight of discovering the tearoom L'Impertinente. A must-visit joint for any self-respecting cakeophile. We owe this discovery to our colleague Axelle and have only one word to say: THANKS Axelle!
Don't try to fit the mould, you'll only end up half-baked...
This motto of the establishment can be seen throughout the quirky tea room, as well as in the sweet treats and très refreshing drinks on offer. A phrase that rings out like a battle cry for life's little pleasures.
The only catch is the queue. L'Impertinente is clearly a victim of its own success.
To enjoy some naughty but nice downtime, you'll need to be patient;)
But this tea time is definitely worth the wait!
